Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Ways Motherhood is Like Being a Dancer
- You
are constantly analyzing your performance.
- It
requires great strength, flexibility and endurance.
- Your
body will never be the same.
- Someone
is always telling you what to do, how to do it and to do it again.
- You
have to go on, because you probably don’t have an understudy, and if you
do s/he’s under-rehearsed.
- When
you’re off balance someone could get hurt.
- No
sitting allowed – unless you’re engaged in something that requires
sitting. That's really and truly requires it...
- Some
things good or bad, are just a function of genetics.
- Rejection
is arbitrary; genuine praise is hard won.
- It’s a
labor of love, and you can’t imagine life any other way.
Soooo true!!!!!

I loved this! I'm a former ballerina, and I was visiting my friend, Jen at Writings of an Infertile Ballerina. She had a link to your post here. Now I see you know From The Heart, and she's my Battle of The Leading Men Co-Host this weekend. It's a small blogging world, isn't it!;)
ReplyDeleteGreat to find you!
